Job Description
The Outreach Specialist/Equal Opportunity & Title IX Investigator plays a dual role in promoting a fair and safe educational and workplace environment. The position leads proactive outreach and prevention efforts, particularly related to Title IX and equal opportunity education, and provides support for pregnancy-related accommodations and resources for faculty, staff, and students. Also, the incumbent is responsible for conducting impartial investigations of discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, and related complaints under the University’s non-discrimination and Title IX policies. This position serves as a visible resource to the campus community and contributes to creating an environment free from discrimination and harassment.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
