We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Employee Relations to join our team. In this key leadership role, you will drive employee relations initiatives, support a positive organizational culture, and ensure compliance with employment laws and College policies. HRCI-certified PHR or SPHR preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead employee relations efforts, providing guidance to employees and supervisors on workplace issues.
*Oversee FMLA, ADA, and employment law compliance.
*Coordinate training and development programs to support professional growth and engagement.
*Monitor employment practices to ensure fairness and adherence to federal and state regulations.
*Serve as backup leadership support in the absence of the Vice President for People & Culture.
Minimum education and experience:
*Bachelor's Degree preferably in Human Resources or Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Business Management, or related discipline.
*Minimum of five (5) years of professional or managerial experience in Human Resources, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of HR operations and effective functional management.
*Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs on Human Resources and leadership-related topics.
*Demonstrated leadership experience within Human Resources, including strategic oversight and team management.
