Valencia College is now hiring a full-time Assistant Director, Equal Opportunity to join our Organizational Development and Human Resources team. In this primarily remote position, you will play a key role in assisting with conducting assessments and investigations for all reports and complaints of discrimination and harassment for students, employees and applicants in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and college policies.
In this leadership role you will have the opportunity to assist with the development of Equal Opportunity trainings for employees and students. You will also have the opportunity collaborate with different teams in preparing articles and other publications related to EO work.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution, or any equivalent combination of related education, training, and/or experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions (required).
- Experience with investigations related to employee/student conduct, harassment or discrimination claims (required).
- Experience with Title IX investigations in a higher education setting (preferred).
- Business partner or consulting experience in a human resources department/field (preferred).

- This position operates in a primarily remote environment.
