Position Information

  • The Director, Payroll, Reporting and Benefits is accountable for the accurate and timely processing of employee compensation transactions, reporting, transmitting of deductions and other payments to state & federal agencies and third-party vendors using an electronic payroll system and oversight of benefits.

    Assure compliance with IRS, TRS, ERS, COBRA, HIPPA, TWC, and required state statutes.

    Responsible for scheduling, reconciling and managing the year-end tax process, collaborating with Payroll, Talent Technology and Finance, and will oversee the issuance of W-2’s, 1095-C and filing the federal and state reports that are associated with employer’s payroll taxes.

    Responsible for ensuring all payroll reporting complies with federal, state and HCCS regulations/policies.

    Responsible for the design, execution and effectiveness of a system of internal controls which provides reasonable assurance that operations are effectives and efficient, assets are safeguarded, financial information is reliable and compliant with applicable law, regulation, policies and procedures.

    Manages Talent Engagement activities for direct reports in regards to: recruiting and selection; hiring and termination, training, development, mentoring, counseling, and performance evaluations.
